Het Cleopatra Strand bij het kasteel van Alanya staat bovenaan de lijst van de mooiste stranden van Antalya. Het ligt aan de westkant van het schiereiland en bestaat uit een zand- en kiezelstrand. Het wordt gekenmerkt door een relatief steile strandhelling. Ter plaatse kan je ligbedden en parasols huren, maar je kan natuurlijk ook gewoon je eigen handdoekje meenemen. Het strand is iets minder kindvriendelijk, juist door de snelle afloop van het strand en de hoge golven. Dit laatste geldt helemaal voor het Damlataş strand.
Het Damlataş strand is het oostelijke deel van het Cleopatra Strand. Dit gedeelte van het strand heeft bezienswaardigheden zoals de Damlataş-grot, het Archeologisch Museum en een kabelbaan die je naar de top van het kasteel brengt.
Er zijn veel 3- tot 4-sterrenhotels in de buurt die alleen door een promenade van het strand worden gescheiden. All-Inclusive hotels komen hier minder vaak voor.
Voor de echte durfal kun je hier ook tanden-paragliden, dit is een erg populaire excursie onder toeristen. Je landt dan op het Cleopatra strand.

Het strand in Lara is vooral populair bij gezinnen met kinderen. Het is het dichtstbijzijnde strand bij de luchthaven van Antalya en is daarmee de ideale plek voor een korte strandvakantie. Het oostelijke deel van dit strand is vooral van de grote hotels direct aan het strand. Het westelijke strandgedeelte is daarentegen wel openbaar.
Vergeleken met bijvoorbeeld Konyaaltı strand, ten westen van Antalya, is het water hier wat warmer en rustiger. Nog een pluspunt voor de kinderen dus!
Een zeer populaire attractie in de buurt van het strand van Lara is Sandland Antalya, dit is een fascinerend zandsculpturenmuseum.

Kaputaş Beach wordt beschouwd als het strand waar je de mooiste foto’s voor instagram kan maken. Het adembenemende landschap vormt een prachtige achtergrond voor foto’s. Dit pittoreske paradijs, gelegen tussen Kaş en Kalkan, zal je betoveren met haar heldere blauw water, gouden zandstrand en steile kliffen. Het water is hier trouwens wel koeler dan op andere stranden in Antalya. Een populaire activiteit om te doen hier is Blue Grotto, dit is een voormalig piratengrot.

Phaselis staat bekend om haar historisch erfgoed en de oude stad Phaselis. Ook de stranden en het kristalheldere water hier zijn de moeite waard. Binnen de drie voormalige baaien van de oude stad zijn er drie rustige stranden. Deze bestaan uit zowel zand als kiezels.
Ga voor een unieke ervaring en zwem door de ruïnes van een oude Romeinse stad. Er zijn verschillende dagtochten op boten die zonaanbidders van Kemer naar Phaselis brengen om heerlijk te zwemmen.

Gelegen in het midden van het Olympos Beydağları Nationaal Park, voelt dit natuurlijke kiezelstrand aan als een ware oase. Het Olympos strand, wat ook bekend staat als broedplek voor de Caretta Caretta-schildpadden, is een bekend ecotoerismegebied in Cıralı. Het mooie hiervan is dat je alleen maar laagbouw vindt in deze omgeving. Kleine, door familie gerund pensions en boomhutten zijn de meest voorkomende accommodaties. Als het op dineren aankomt, dan zijn er een aantal authentieke restaurants op het strand.
Als je hier bent, dan moet je ook zeker de ruïnes van de oude stad Olympos bezoeken, deze liggen aan de zuidkant van het strand. Ook een ritje met de kabelbaan is een van de hoogtepunten.

Het gigantische strand van Patara staat bekend om haar honinggele zandduinen, prachtige zonsondergang en als broedplek van de Caretta Caretta-schildpaden. Om deze reden kan het zo zijn dat veel delen in de zomer gesloten zijn.

Het Konyaaltı strand ligt ten westen van de oude binnenstad van Antalya. Een promenade scheidt het 1 kilometer lange zand- en kiezelstrand van de hotels aan de overkant. Er zijn dus des te meer attracties op het uitgestrekte strand ter vermaak. Het meest populaire en levendige gedeelte is Beach Park.
Andere bezienswaardigheden zijn het Aktur-park, het Antalya Aquarium, de Tünektepe-kabelbaan en het waterpark Aqualand. Dankzij een aantal strandclubs direct aan het strand, staat het ook wel bekend als hotspot voor het nachtleven in Antalya.
Het strand is echter geen aanrader voor reizigers die de voorkeur geven aan All-Inclusive vakanties.

Ben je in de buurt, dan moet je ook echt even een kijkje nemen bij het Yörük Nomad Park, wat grens aan het strand.

Mermerli Beach ligt direct naast de jachthaven van Antalya in het oude centrum van Kaleiçi. Het kleine zandstrand heeft veel ligbedden naast elkaar, die door de nabijheid van de stad soms behoorlijk druk kunnen worden. Bijzonder mooi is het heldere water en het uitzicht op de klif aan de overkant.
Het strand van Mermerli ligt niet ver van de boetiekhotels in Kaleiçi, het oude centrum van Antalya. Daarom is het strand erg interessant, vooral voor bezoekers die hier of in de omgeving wonen.

Bovendien wordt aangenomen dat het water op Suluada ook nog eens een genezend effect zouden hebben. Er zijn twee zandstranden en veel grotten op het onbewoond eiland.
Dit ongerepte stukje paradijs voor Adrasan is alleen per boot te bereiken. Een geheim tipje: Dit strand ligt niet ver van de oude stad van Antioch Ad Cragum in de wijk Gazipaşa in Antalya. Het is een zeer rustige baai met spectaculaire natuurlijke schoonheid. De baai wordt tegen de zee beschermd door een natuurlijke rotsboog met een gat in het midden. Dit geeft unieke uitzichten. Het verborgen paradijs dankt zijn naam, koningsbaai, aan het feit dat koning Antiochus hier volgens verhalen heeft gebaad.
Kral Koyu is een populaire plek bij de lokale bevolking en daarom kun je altijd bezoekers verwachten. Ben je hier in de buurt, dan is een korte trip naar de ruïnes van Antiochia Ad Cragum ook zeker aan te raden.

Dit zandstrand ligt ten oosten van het schiereiland van Side en loopt naar de monding van de rivier in Manavgat. Het wordt gekenmerkt door de kalme zee en je vindt er ook veel 4- en 5-sterrenhotels. Het strandgedeelte dat direct grenzend aan Side ligt, is open voor het publiek. Je vindt hier ook een aantal beachclubs, met heerlijk eten, drankjes en goede muziek.
